Whirlpool

At Amherst we have a stainless steel whirlpool which allows us the luxury of extending topical therapy of skin conditions. The use of therapeutic additives to the main water and the action of the jets serves to loosen surface debris, medicate below the superficial layer of skin, and massage the skin to stimulate circulation. Once the patient adapts to the sound of the jets we find they enjoy the sensation and are willing participants.
