Every year we like to participate in the Canadian Shoreline Clean Up. This year 13 of us went out the beach and brought our children and dogs for the adventure. It was a very sunny and clear day, probably one of the sunniest this spring. The park was very busy with people, dogs and playing children as we gathered about 16kg of garbage.
We split the party up into two smaller groups and divided up the park and beach and rolled up our sleeves. We collected everything from cigarette butts to dog poop, even construction materials like bricks and 2x4s.
We finished off the day with a group picnic in the sun and had some fun with the dogs on the beach. For more photos please visit our Google+ Page.
