Dr. Natasa Milojkovic

Dr. Natasa grew up in a small town in Serbia, the former Yugoslavia. As a child Natasa was always feeding stray dogs and raising many litters of unwanted puppies (spay/neuter programs did not exist at that time). Most puppies died from (to me) unknown causes so at that time I decided to find a cause.

Natasa pursued her dream and graduated from the University of Belgrade in 1990 and came to Canada in 1992. She began her Canadian veterinary career as a veterinary technician and then passed the Canadian Board exam in Guelph in 1995.

Natasa has always had a great compassion for animals and their people. Natasa worked in a variety of clinics between Whistler and Chilliwack and lived for many years in the beautiful Harrison Hot Springs. She and her husband moved to Vancouver in 2000 and she joined us here at Amherst in May of 2015. They currently have a 12 year old cat Chiquita to keep them company.

Natasa’s special areas of interest are in geriatric medicine, problems with mobility and dermatology. In order to further her ability to work in these areas, in 2008 she completed the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) course in Edmonton and in 2016 completed training in animal Chiropractics at the Options for Animals chiropractic School in Kansas. She is now a member of the International Veterinary Chiropractic Society. (IVCA).

“The moment I was first introduced to Amherst, I knew it was the right place for me, where I can work with people that share the same values that I have, and people I deeply respect. They place animal well being and health above anything else and have passion to help animals achieve optimal health.”
